MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Today is an extremely shaky day for me. Not only do I show my tremors on the outside but I feel as though there is an earthquake happening inside my body. I'm told by my neurologist that"the earthquake" I am feeling is a common complaint among Parkinson's patients. I have never seen anything in print about it, has anyone? All I know is that this inner shaking is really making me feel discombobulated. I feel weird, disconnected and irritable. I have had this shaking several times before but it is not something I experience on a regular basis.

I have developed a tremor in my left hand now and the tremor in my jaw has really been doing quite a two step lately. I go to see my neurologist the first part of July and it's a new neurologist for me, my old one is moving on so now I have to break in a new doctor, I hope he's smart and cute and funny!

So anybody else with earthquakes?

Nothing to figure out Steve. Just another one of those crazy, you may get them and you may not, Parkinson's symptoms. As for my new Neuro, I just hope he's smart enough to read my history before he sees me!
