I've had a pretty difficult time recently. I've had a sinus infection - really messes with my immune deficiency disorder.

Mostly - I am having extreme fatigue (I had to pull over and rest ON THE WAY TO WORK yesterday), muscle weakness and strain on my eyes with the focusing problem. I've had pain the past week - headache, neck, arms, down the back. Nothing helps. Called doc - "make an appt for 2 weeks or whenever!"

Anyone experiece this? It's difficut to deal with and a bit scary.

H.

Hi Harobed,

Sorry to hear that you're having such problems...I can imagine that it must be very scary!

I suffer from fatigue a lot but that' from a combination of parkinsons and fibromylagia. Sometimes I have muscle spasms and weakness but I don't have the other problems like the neck pain etc.

I'm glad you called your doctor...hopefully he can give you some answers.

Take care of yourself and keep us posted!

Many hugs,

Kathleen

Harobed, I don't want to worry you but those symptoms are very similar to what sent me to the cardiologist the first time. Here's a link I found for you, too.

"H" this sounds pretty serious! Were you tested for Mono or Strep Throat? There's also Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which might move in in your weakened state, but the symptons are not good and 2 weeks is toatlly unacceptable. Is that your general practiciioner telling you 2 weeks, with your Medical History? I'm worried for you, please get it checked out as soon as you can. Like Kathleen said, keep us posted

Harobed,

How are you feeling today? Still having all that pain and discomfort? When exactly do you see the doctor?

Hugs,

Kathleen

I have had a really tremor filled week! I don't know the exact cause - is it the ET, the PD, the CFS (just newly dx) or the new "bleeding" (unexplained petichae) issue as yet un-dx.

Anyway as to tremors - Monday it was bad in the left hand - I couldn't type. Tuesday it was the right hand. Past 2 days more normal tremor activity except that the tension and muscle weakness is so bad in my arms, especially, I almost went to the hospital today. Typing this now I'm having the regular amount of difficulty but I feel as if my arms are going to 'fall off'.

Wow it's freaking me out - as if I'm going to lose the use of my arms and hands, almost. Anyone had that sensation? Go to neuro next week.

Harobed, the neurologist might decide to give you a nerve conduction test. There's nothing fun about it but it can sometimes be a very valuable tool.
