MDJunction to me

grandmasylvia"MDJ has been "a soft place to fall" for me as Dr Phil says. I have this very painful rare disease Dercum's Disease and take comfort in finding others here who share their knowledge and compassion. Many
members have helped me just by understanding my anguish and validating
my pain. We are working together to encourage research toward a cure.

Well I got the call to pick my daughter up at camp ths weekend Dizzy . Its amazing how quickly things can go downhill!!!! I have absolutly no childcare arranged for her ths week and im despertly trying not to loose my new job (as has happend because of her many times). She has burned most of her bridges so its really hard to find anybody (or anyplace) that will watch her...i cant even look at her right now...if i close my eyes tight cant i just pretend that she is still at camp and none of this is really happening???? Blink

yes, somebody connected me with an agency called "special sitters" out here where i live. they will sit for kids w/special needs. my daughter doesnt understand why she has to have a "babysitter" when she is 13 but so far hasnt fought it thankfully...its certainly not a cheap service by any means (id love to figure out a way that she can pay me back for this!!!) but im glad that they were available on such short notice and my daughter also has been sleeping a lot since she got home so that helps...
