sorry but i feel that way.

my six yr old son has been diagnosed, adhd, odd, and bp.

he has been on several different meds. is currently taking

depakote, tenex, and seroquil.

i can stand the hyperactivity, and excessive talking. what

i can't handle is how he is so destructive, whiney, backtalking

and refuses to mind or even listen.

it is getting progressively worse as he gets older.

he is making above average grades in his studies in school,

but way below average in his behavior. i am at school, sometimes,

3 or 4 times a week. i get bad behavior reports everyday.

what scares me the most is that i am afraid he will continue

to get worse. he actually can cut off and on, his behavior.

this makes me think he can control his behavior, and that

he may turn out to be a sociopath....i know, hard words

for a six yr old Sad but he shows no empathy or sympathy.

we can't even take him to the store, or out to eat. ppl look at

us like we are nuts. he runs off and we have to chase him.

he does have a therapist and a pdoc. everyone is trying to work

with him and us, to help him.

does anyone else have to deal with things like this, and if so how do you handle it? i am now, also, seeing a pdoc, who has put me on nerve pills. i don't want to have to depend on drugs to survive.

any and all advice will be appreciated.

God bless,

joyce

i am, in no way a dr or therapist.
the opinions on this thread, are just that, my opinions.
here to help however i can. whenever i can.
God bless all.
