MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

Hi Doreen. Sorry that your having issues with your son. Probation really doesn't stop them or at least it hasn't mine. Oh in the beginning it did but then they get brave and use but hopefully it will with your son. I just feel so frustrated as all of you do with your kids. The drug problems is only getting worse in this country and I really don't see it getting better anytime soon unless the government does some major changes...hugs and prayers.
I am not a doctor so any suggestions, comments or advice are purely my own and should be considered as such.

OMG...yes I agree the system is totally messed up!! Congrats on 25 years Doreen!! What an accomplishment!!! Be strong, and try to enjoy your time with your son. I miss my kids so damn bad, even though they have reeked havoc on my life in so many ways.

I'm praying that daughter is taking her heart meds every day.. they are a constant worry!!

Have an amazing day!! XOXO

Hi Doreen, Iremember when they released my son to live with us. I was excited and nervous. In my case it didnt last long and then he was usung again after two and a half years clean. Prison forced clean, but clean. I do believe that when they have long periods of sobriety it is just that much hsrder for them to use again as i think they rmemeber being sober and it interferes with their high. We all just seem to wait for that light to go on for them. I really hope it goes well for you and your son. Sending prayers for you both
