I'm an Advocate

Thinking of all of you and sending out prayers and hugs. Hope you all enjoy your holiday this week and try to remember that always..things could be worse..and..never lose hope for the future. Lets try to focus on someone else this Thursday instead of ourselves and try to donate some time or money to someone else in need, someone who is hungry, or someone who doesn't even have the basic essentials of life. love you all, jenn

Oh sorry thought your Thanksgiving was this weekend past. So I will rephrase that, may you all have a great Thanksgiving and try to put all your sadness and worry away for the one day. Yes I believe there are people worse off than us. But that always doesnt make us feel better but we can try. Hugs Lynda

Hello Jenn and Friends- Thanksgiving is a new concept for me in adulthood. I admit openly it is now one of my favourite days. I am so grateful for my son, addiction and all... for he showed me the way to love without expectation, to forgive when I didn't want to, and to open my heart to the many people around me I might not have looked into the eye of ... and for the one man on earth who is willing to love me and mine in spite of ourselves. Oh yes, I am thankful for much-- even in the face of addiction, I know I have much. Please include yourselves in that list for this group has helped me through many a tear filled night-- even when you didn't know it. Thank you, All. ~Alex
