I draw strength and hope from our Bipolar alcoholics and addicts who bravely share their experiences and courageously face our common demons. This is a special, close and safe group to explore any alcohol or drug issues. I have made many dear friends and been sustained by the love and acceptance so freely offered." (sarahtroy)

Hi! I am new here but not to MDJ. I am a grandma of a toddler, a boy, Johnny, who just turned 2 yrs old in November. I hope to be able to get some new ideas here to help in his raising!

Welcome! I am fairly new to this site also. My grandson is just turning two and we have raised him all of his life. We do lots of floor time. It sure was easier 20 years ago but I would not trade if for the world.

Previous discussions I participated in:
Won't pick up his bottle/cup
Need Help
HI everyone

Thanks for joining and sorry it took me so long to reply! Grandchildren, I have heard from my mother, is the most wonderful experience and I am sure we can help you out. Are there any things that are of particular interest to you? If so, feel free to post them here or let me know and I can see what I can do to get some information going for ya!

Take care and enjoy him! My daughter is 2 and they are so much fun at that age.

my daughter is slightly over 2 and 2 can be a wonderfully happy time because there able to communicate so much better and do things but it can also be a very trying time with potty training which elise has finally gotten and temper tantrums
Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
Maybe someday you'll look up,
And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:
"Isn't something missing?"

You won't cry for my absence, I know -
You forgot me long ago.
Am I that unimportant...?
Am I so insignificant...?
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?

Please, please forgive me,
But I won't be home again.
I know what you do to yourself,
I breathe deep and cry out:
"Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?"

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?

And if I bleed, I'll bleed,
Knowing you don't care.
And if I sleep just to dream of you
And wake without you there,
Isn't something missing?
Isn't something...

Even though I'm the sacrifice,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't something missing?
Isn't someone missing me?
