 Hi! I am having a bit of a problem. My daughter is on her second day of big girl underpants and doing well with peepee, buuut she will not poop. She hasn't even gone in her pants. I am nervous that she is purposely holding out of fear. What can I do to help. I don't want her to get constipated and not be able to go at all. Thank you, Dana

 Have you taken her to the bathroom and had her watch you poop? Show her. Get excited and say Yay mommy pooped yay for me! Give yourself a sticker or a treat. Some children AND adults can get constipated from their emtions.

 I agree with taking her with you and letting her see you do it. I did it with both of my kids and we made up a cheer and song to get them excited about pooping in the potty. While they were on the potty I would sit on the floor and would tell them that they were going to make mommy's bathroom stink (turning it into a joke). When anyone and I mean anyone would go poop in my house we would sing the "I went poopy in th potty song" and dance through the house. lol It was actually alot of fun and both of them finally caught on to the excitment and fun of going in the potty. Hope this helps some!

 With my daughter we put her in long dresses because she will not use her potty if she has underpant or diaper on

we got her to finally understand pooping in the potty was a big deal by clapping and saying wow what a big girl you are then given her a jellybean

Even though I'd be sacrificed,
You won't try for me, not now.
Though I'd die to know you love me,
I'm all alone.
Isn't someone missing me?
