Anyone else here dealt with nursing and biting? Jackson bit me yesterday for the first time and drew blood.

No, not exactly. My first born Sarah's teeth used to scrape me as she sucked. Something she could not help and an LC could not help me with. I talked to so many trying to get some help. She just had a small mouth with long teeth!! LOL After a couple weeks for bleeding nips they toughened up. I am glad I did not quit.

As for the biting I have always heard if they are biting, it means they are playing and to take the breast away for that session and saya firm "no bite". That they will get the hint. But I have never been bitten yet... so I am not sure if that works or not.

I was so dreading this. When he did this and took him off, laid him in the floor for 5 minutes and walked away from him. So far so good today.
