Parathyroid Gland Online Support Group

Can someone refer me to a specialist? I have seen my General Surgeon but not too impressed. I have had most of thyroid removed 10 years ago. I live in Nebraska so a specialist somewhere in Mid America would be great.

Hi: I have an issue right now which could be a parathyroid adenoma. Have had 2 Sistumibi Scans in the past 2 years, which were both negative. I do however have a high PTH level with a high normal calcium of 9 and low phosphorus of 2.2

Found a lump on the collarbone edge of shoulder blade. Had x-rays due to terrible pain. They are telling me its bad Arthritis through out my body with calcium deposits forming. How do I find a good surgeon in New Jersey. Cannot afford to travel.

Need some answers from somebody who has gone through this.
