You can smell cigar smoke when no one is around, hear children laughing at all odd hours of the night and day and a phone near the tunnels calls 911 almost weekly. There are many books about this place but a little background is that orphans used to live at this school. The school has underground tunnels (they are still there) and the bad children would be taken down there and shackled and beaten. Their legs would be broken and some would die. There is a cemetery in the back of the orphanage of all the dead children. Very creepy to be there. I toured it last halloween and they took us up to the tower where they also used to punish children. They would keep them there for days and only let them use the bathroom into a bucket they left out for them. It had a very icky feeling to the room.
