MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

This may seem like a weird question but after being on an antipsychotic i feel less in touch with the spirit world. i am taking abilify for depression. My friend is taking lamictal for bipolar and says the same thing too. Anyone else have an opinion this?

Yes, this is quite common...unfortunately...the only thing that I can say, is that you can try to different types of exercises to try and heighten your abilities...these drugs make changes to chemical imbalances...

You can try meditation...guided imagery...grounding exercises can also help you reconnect with you too...

Why are you on these? Are you considered clinically depressed? There are other techniques that can be done to overcome depression...takes some time...but can be done...I beat it on my own...without the meds...Cognitive Behavioral therapy is one technique that can really help to overcome depression...

I was diagnosed bipolar and was put on abilify and lamictal. I fought that for a few years and found a doctor who was sure I wasn't bipolar, but maybe anxiety and depression. I went on an antidepressant and weaned off the other stuff, but I just couldn't keep myself together. Went back on the abilify and things are good, except for that. I have major anxiety, and I am in the midst of trying to find a psychiatrist to help me deal. I don't feel like a therapist is helping right now.

I went to a spiritualist church this past weekend and wanted to join their monday night circle. They are working on auras but I feel like I might make a fool out of myself because I haven't worked on my ability and have never seen an aura before but would love to. Anyway....that got me a bit bummed out. First visit at that church though and it was great.

I am planning on trying to work a little more trying to get back what I had and see what happens.

i have been in hypermania state a lot in my life, after acupuncture treatment i was so relaxed, being in mania state like being in fight or flight, very heighten state of mind. i thought i could read minds after acupuncture treatment, i guess body relaxed, but my senses of things around me were very strong. it a strange, it was feeling your inside person.

i went a energy balancing group. they use the rods to check your energy levels. before after balancing. my energy levels which are like a aura i guess almsot 6 or 7 times afterward. when rods would turn and turn.
