Hello everyone my name is Hailee and I am 19 and been a panic sufferer since I was 15 years old. I do remember my first anxiety panic attack/ seizure that I had, and it was that which would change my life forever. I have bad anxiety, I was agoraphobic its scary sh*t and something I would not wish upon my worst enemy. I was in councelling for a good 9 months at 200 dollars an hour fixing this problem. After all the councelling I can safley say that I was better. Then after having my 2nd child the anxiety all came rushing back. The perfect example would have to be the other day I am getting my hair cut and BAM full blown anxiety attack... I was so embarrassed. But thankfully the woman who was cutting my hair was also an panic attack survivor. I dont know what I am asking you people of, maybe some comfort maybe some stories to share. I cant wait for a response I am so relieved to find this on the internet! The real reason I searched it was because I was actually coping with a panic attack moments ago! If you have any questions feel free to ask! Thanks for listening! Hailee.

Hello Hailee, welcome to the group.

It is a wonderful feeling to know that we are not alone in our suffering. The people here are very caring and supportive.

My panic/anxiety is triggered by things that remind me of the abuse I suffered as a child. It happens alot without me knowing what the trigger was. Smells, peoples appearences, songs, being to close to someone, crowds, and many other things trigger my attacks.

I had been in counseling for many years and it did get better for awhile. I have been having a rough time lately because of stress and health issues.

I hope that you're able to find relief soon. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Your friend,Chris

yes, USA. too many triggers, lol. people i don't know, people getting upset, phones, bills, people not understanding me, i don't know how to describe some of them without them sounding really lame.

anyway this discussion is about you, hon. have you pinpointed any triggers yet? it is difficult to do sometimes, isn't it? you sometimes fiugre it out and then go "no way that can't be it, that is silly" just to have that situation throw you into a full blown panic. do you have a support system at home?

Yeah it is hard to pinpoint the problem I know one sure fire thing that makes me go into a full blown panic state! Marijuana, and any thing that makes me feel high or un-normal. Also being stuck in one place for too long where its busy makes me get anxiety. I have support at home my mom, and my boyfriend make me feel alot better when I am freaking out.

Anxiety has become a part of my life now, and I hate it but it doesnt seem to wanna go AWAY!

sounds like there is a fear of loss of control issue going on mommyhailee. that is why i don't drink or do drugs at all because i detest and fear the loss of control. spent my entire life out of my control, i'm not going to voluntarily add to it, lol. by busy do you mean lots of people? have you been diagnosed with social anxiety?
