I'm pretty sure most of us who've been suffering with panic for a while know logically that they can't hurt us, but logic doesn't always play a part when you're having an attack. It depends on the person and just knowing that they can't hurt you or that they won't kill you, doesn't take them away for everyone.

Although we know that they can't hurt us, it sure doesnt feel that way in the middle of it. And it is sometimes hard to remember to relax and continue positive thinking. I have struggled with the attacks for 10 years and, while it is easier now, it is never a pleasant feeling. And I only wish people who don't have them would be a little more patient with those of us that do. It seems that people get frustrated and expect you to just snap out of it. Oh, if only it were that easy.

yes this is very true. but that is where logic and primal emotions come into contridiction. fear has absolutely nothing to do with logic. which is something i wish the state of washington would learn when denying someone needy of assistance(me) because of their belief in if you are capable of logical thinking you therefore cannot be terrified.

but thank you very much for the possitive affirmation. we all need to keep it in mind.

As bad as my past was, without it I wouldn't be the good person i am today
