That is probably where your panic stemmed from especially as you only remembered it a short time ago. That must have set off all sorts of emotions and fears for you. Have you ever had counselling for it? I am about to start counselling myself. It def sounds like that traumatic event brought on your panic attacks. You also mentioned that when you feel trapped or know you might be, that sets off your panic which is the same feeling you get from being assaulted or abused. Are you comfortable talking about this? Say if you aren't. I'll respect that.

I am in the same predicament with my sister. I want to ask her if she was abused as well but I'm afraid to incase I really upset her. She doesn't suffer with anxiety or panic attacks but I have never thought that it didn't happen to her. I have only just acknowledged what happened to me but I don't think she knows if anything happened to her to be honest. Glad you are comfortable talking about it. Just say if there's anything you aren't comfortable with. Can I ask if your uncle was punished for what he did to you and your sister? My grandfather died 2 years ago so he got away with what he did.

Oh sorry hun, my mistake. Wow seven children. Have you thought about telling the police about him now? That's a hell of a guilt on your shoulders knowing what he's done and that he has children of his own. How awful for you babe

Yeah I can see the predicament hun. Only you know if it feels like he knew what he was doing but I do understand believe me. It's always hard when someone that young does something bad but if you feel like what he did wasn't a kid thing and he knew what he was doing then you have every right to act on that. Alarm bells go off for me when you said that you were on 8 and your sister was 10. Most boys that age know right from wrong. I understand that you don't want to rake any of this up or rock the boat. I don't want to put unnecessary pressure on you.
