That is probably where your panic stemmed from especially as you only remembered it a short time ago. That must have set off all sorts of emotions and fears for you. Have you ever had counselling for it? I am about to start counselling myself. It def sounds like that traumatic event brought on your panic attacks. You also mentioned that when you feel trapped or know you might be, that sets off your panic which is the same feeling you get from being assaulted or abused. Are you comfortable talking about this? Say if you aren't. I'll respect that. |
