I'm having a really hard time today. Is anyone able to talk? Just feel constantly on the verge of a panic attack....

I am here. I am sorry that you are feeling that way. It is so hard to know what to think about when one starts up. Usually you can't think of anything else. Sometimes what I do is start listening to music and think of where I was when I first heard the song. Sounds silly I suppose but it has worked for me.

Thank you. It helps to know there are people here. That doesn't sound silly at all. That's just the type of distraction I use to try and stop feeling that way.

Distractions are good. I also find taking small sips of water helps me as well...maybe because it takes away the dry mouth and takes away the tightness in my throat when I feel an attack coming on.

Coming on this board is a form of distraction for me, it helps me to feel a little bit focused. Plus like Bridget said taking small sips of water helps
