MDJunction to me

Sylvia4648"I have suffered from depression most of my life, but had some long, non-depressed times. The last 16 years have been an on-going, constantly worsening nightmare for me medically, socially and with my family. 11/2008 to the present has been the worst time in my life, and new things just keep piling up. During that time I’ve gone from being mostly homebound to being totally homebound due to the errors of about 2 dozen doctors who overmedicated me so badly that I came home w/ 4 conditions I didn’t go in with. I spent months wanting to die, and finding MDJ may well have saved my life. It’s one of the worst feelings to know that nobody on earth needs you for anything; but now that I’ve been a group leader for awhile, there are people here who need me. Thanks MDJ." (Sylvia4648)

Phil, I said it doesn't feel right. As in not normal. Did I say that was a bad thing? LOL LOL

Ok, update!! I spoke to my psychiatrist about this yesterday. He said that B complex can make some people more anxious, especially those who take SSRIs like myself. A week after I stopped the B vitamins I felt much better. Smile

I took a super B complex one time for a few days and oh my gosh it made me really anxious as if I had too much sugar in me or something!! Then my heart went fast too. I did not like it at all. And I am not even on an SSRI!! ONce I stopped taking it I too felt much better.

While what you are saying can be true flatts. "B" CAN make SOME people mare anxious. I do not deny that. However, this is NOT true of mast people. In general, the "B" vitamins help decrease the panic. The evidence hat I speak the truth is found in multiple medical references. We had this conversation before and I see nothing new here.

Thank you for the update Smile

Rflattsfan, I get very anxious on them, and were a panic trigger for me, but know others who have had great success. And less panic attacks. I guess it depends on the individual.

Yes, it CAN be true, and it is with me and a good handful of people. I'm just sharing with what my psych doc told me. II was put more at ease about it. I know it's great for many though. I'm just glad I feel better! Smile

So am I flatt. Please don't misunderstand that. I get that for you and some others the B vitamins give you the opposite reaction than with the vast majority of people. The point to me is still that you do feel much better, and for that, I am very happy!

Yes very true Kildare I apologize I should have wrote that B vitamins help many people. I think my thing was is that I was on a Super B complex. I do think that maybe had I taken a not so strong dose of B it could help me.

No apology is needed Amy. You spoke truthfully of your experience. There is nothing wrong with that at all. You never claimed that was true for all. I have never seen you write a thing needing an apology, while me, on the other hand....
