It has started since the potty training! He is in underwear all day now though and goes by himself when he needs to. No reminders. He usually goes as soon as he wakes up, so maybe it wakes him up out of a sleep??...cause the boy doesn't want his pull up at night to be wet! I swear, he is aiming at wearing underwear all the time, cause he just told me tonight he wants underwear at night too!

Well he should probably wear a pull up when he goes to sleep just in case he has an accident. But when he wakes up to pee in the morning why can't he go back to sleep? Just wondering? I mean is he not tired in the morning at all? How long does he sleep? Blink

My hubby told me that's what I get for bragging that I had a son who slept in like me! I am sooooo not a morning person! And he has been sooo good at sleeping since he was newborn! Ugh, I'm in for it now...

I have nooo clue why he cannot go back to sleep??? Most kids don't once they wake up from what I hear from friends! He usually sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hrs a night...now that I counted, he does still sleep 10 hrs a night. I was just used to it being close to 12 hrs a night....and w me not going to sleep until late, I guess it makes more of an impact. When he was newborn 10 pm was our bedtime and I would fall asleep then. Now, I don't fall asleep that easy!

Maybe you should make his bedtime a little bit later now that he is waking up earlier to pee? Maybe he will pee later in the morning if he goes to sleep later at night. That is amazing that he can sleep that long. I cannot even imagine what that would be like. WOW! W00t

I tried that the other night. He still woke up early, got less sleep and was a big crank all day! Then the naptime thing since his crib got put into a toddler bed....he hasn't been taking naps either lately. I think I need to re-evaluate naptime, cause I still need that downtime during the day...
