Panic Attacks Support Group

I know my root cause, but that doesn't make it any easier, because to get better, I first have to get worse. The meds that kill Lyme increase symptoms first and it's hell on earth.

My theory is that there is a physiological root cause to all panic attacks. Even when a Psychiatrist says it's not, "It's in your head". I say, "It's chemical right?" Chemicals are physical!

FYI - They treat this disorder with body detoxification in other parts of the world with great success (cleaning bowels and other organs out). It may not work for everyone, but I'm interested because I think my TOXIC load is the cause for me??? That doesn't mean I don't dope up with benzos and anything else that takes the edge off!

My 11 year old son also has them BAD! He leaves school a couple times a week. After every bowel cleanse he gets better for a while. I don't fully understand it but whatever helps.

You can google Edgar Cayce (the sleeping prophet) and see what he says about depression and anxiety. He attributes it all to toxins/poisons that interfere with the chemical messages your nerves send and receive.

My wife and I are both Christians too and there is controversy over his abilities. Some say his ability was from evil, others say inspired by God. I just try to take the positive and not let it affect my relationship with God.

What do you suggest with my son? Lexipro did not help and nobody will give him Benzo's. His diet seems to affect him, but not always.
