Mike, This is what I suggest that you do. Lay in bed and close your eyes and try to relax. The Xanax should help you to relax which will then help you to sleep. So try that and turn everything off and let me know how that works. Hopefully you will tell me tomorrow that it helped you. But turn everything off and get in bed. No TV no nothing. Just close your eyes and relax! Okay? Smile

A man sooner or later discovers that he is the master-gardener of his soul, the director of his life.
Begin at once to live, and count each separate day as a separate life.
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.
It is a common experience that a problem difficult at night is resolved in the morning after the committee of sleep has worked on it.

I got some sleep but not as much as I would like. Just keep thinking positive that this will not be forever.

Kinda scared to ask this question but...

Will anxiety attacks ever go away and are they curable?

Mike, This is what I would say...Medication and counseling can help you reduce the severity and frequency of the panic attacks, and help you manage them better. Talk to your doctor. Smile

Mike, Try to not think so much. I know that is gonna sound strange but the thinking and the over thinking can cause panic. Did you eat today? Eat something and do something that you enjoy. Are you home or are you at work? If you are home then maybe you can watch a movie and take your mind off of things. If you are at work then I hope the work day goes by fast..lol Shocked Grin Wink I am trying to make you laugh! Smile
