I am really getting sick of this! When will I ever get back to what I feel is "normal?!" I can't go 2 days without some form of attack. I thought for a minute it was a hormone thing since I miscarried, but now I'm thinking otherwise. Sad I have always had panic attacks, since I was a child actually....but none like this and so close together! Now, the "new" thing with me is feeling like I can't breathe. I feel like my nose is stopped up (and it isn't) and I can't take good enough breaths, then the scared feeling comes, then the hazy "nothing seems real" thoughts haunt me! I really can't take this anymore! Sad Sad Sad Sorry to vent, I just had to get some of my feelings out somehow, and you guys are the only place I knew I could do that.

Please continue to remember me in your prayers.

Romans 15:13, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (NIV)

This is what i do when that happens. I close my eyes and breathe in though my nose and slowly out though my mouth, It lets my body know i can breathe fine and it also will slow down your heart a bit too.

Like Melissa said, in through the nose and out through the mouth help with the breathing. Try and breathe from your diaphram, do this by making sure your stomach is expanding instead of your chest when you breathe. What I used to do for de-personalization feeling or the feeling like I was in a dream was to pinch myself. Not hard enough to bruise or anything but enough to let you realize everything is real and your not just a shell of a person. It helps if you have someone hold you or give you a hug or if you can just touch things, to feel them. Its hard and those were some of the worst panic attacks I ever had, along with the panic attacks where I actually thought I was dying. Ahhh who am I kidding.. they are all rough. >_> Anyway since your a christian there is a certain verse that always helps me when I get worried. You probably have heard it before, but here it is anyways. "Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are you better than the fowls?" Luke 12:24
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they have been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact; It is an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration; It is a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." -Richard Bullock

Hey Bean, I know what you're going through I was right there a couple of days ago. It's hard to remain optimistic when the episodes are so draining emotionally, physically, and mentally. Everyone's support helps and just knowing deep down that you are really okay and this can't hurt you in any way.

My prayers are with you always.

Thank you so much Melissa....you don't even know what it means to have you "listen." I read your response last night, just felt so icky for lack of better wording, to respond. THANKS A MILLION!

Love,

Bean

That depersonalization crap SUCKS! Thanks for the tips Mason...I actually did the pinch last night. Like I told Melissa...I read all of your responses but was too caught up in my anxiety to respond. Thanks...more than I can put into words. I loved the scripture, too.

I'm so sorry you recently went through that Peace...it's one horrible experience...one that never seems to be LESS horrible!!! UGH! It is EVER so draining. :/ Thank you for the prayers...*GOD* knows I really do need others praying for me. Sometimes I feel like no one does anymore since both my parents passed away.

Much Love,

Bean
