hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone else in the group has high blood pressure?I have been under alot of stress and having anxiety,and now my blood pressure is up.I'm being put back on my blood pressure med soon

I do. But how high is high for you? I take two meds 8 yrs now. eliminating salt and keeping overall daily sodium intake no not me than 1000 mg a day. Losing a little weight helps. If it is heredity, meds are usually need.. exercise reduces Bp too.

Well,

My bp was 144/92.For me thats high.I am exercising by walking 6 miles a week and ,i started tennis.I have lost 9 lbs and have 10 lbs to go.It is in my family.

Keri, that is a bit high. The bottom # is the one to be concerned about. If it is in the family, medications may be the answer, speak to your Dr about alternative treatment. Now you did have it under cool in the past, perhaps in time you can control it on your own. Google reducing Bp#, lots of info on foods that help, supplements and tools. Stay well Smile
