Hello everyone, I had the same scenario Holt did, I smoked some very good marijuana and was ripped.. I mean just completely amazed after 3 hits, this bong had about a 1.5 gram bowl and I told myself I was going to smoke it all. So I smoked up, smoked a ciggie, and went home, then I had what I compare to a full body orgasm, and felt symptoms of cocaine (itching, feeling good, etc.) And I had promised myself I'd never try coke, but I started going nuts cause of this. Anyways. Even after I sobered up and refrained from smoking anything for a week I still have a lil bit of a breathin' problem.

Most people who smoke marijuana smoke cigarettes so they do not smell like weed, subconciously everybody knows ciggies are bad, some people let it get to them worse than others, I smoked up a few days ago and had virtually no problem.

My suggestion to everybody is to let their lungs take a break.. full health and a full self esteem really helps. If you want to speed up the process go to your nearest health store and get some respiratory purification stuff. Seriously. Also, vaporizing is the way to go, there is some truth to the toxins in mj smoke, but no where near as bad as the cigarettes. And make sure there isn't anything else in the weed, they found extacy in my system a few days later... so I'm shocked at that. My advice, do it for your lungs, vaporize, grow your own (so you know whats in it), and just mellow. Marijuana is nature's herb, don't let the propoganda and all other false claims let you second guess yourself. Don't go for the anxiety pills either, it's all in your mind.

If the above fails to work, I suggest getting an Isolation Tank. Look it up on google... you'll be interested in what you find out about them.

Oh and one more thing, I forgot to add this. It was a panic attack, at first I thought it was asthma or heart problems, but just a simple panic attack. It's all about psychology and the way your mind works. Isolation tanks are the best thing for anyone wanting to search inside theirself but don't want to take acid or mushrooms. I have been in one... it is the best thing in the world, more rejuvenating than shrooms... absolute peace... it's like 110% serenity, something you cannot acheive by yourself.

Hey all,

Here is the number 1 answer for Pot speeding you up or causing anxiety and panic. BIPOLAR DISORDER!!!

It happened to me not in the beginning but as my bipolar got worse ( at the time I didn't know I was Bipolar)

SPEED in thoughts and anxiety! Both traits bipolars can experience with drugs even as "innocent" as POT!

Pot is farfrom harmless. I got so bad that my anxiety took about 5 months to go away when I quit.

i don't smoke pot as i am allergic to it, plus i detest the loss of control most drugs like pot and alcohol create. but i do know several people who encounter panic when they smoke it. one person i know actually turns extremely paranoid.

myheartcopper sorry about your grandma. hugs. i am homebound too from my panic/anxiety for the most part. i can leave the house if a family memeber goes with me. but not alone.

binkster i wish i could learn controlled breathing, i have tried to monitor and slow down my breathing but i get very light headed and feel i am going to passout. but i can agree even light exercise can help. sometimes helps me if i do them even in the panic attack. i guess it releases some of the negative energy.

hugs and health to all
