So how is everyone doing today?

How was your weekend? Do anything fun?

Well I am doing pretty good. Up way earlier than usual. I had a nice weekend. We went to my fiances parents for easter dinner on Saturday. Sunday we took a long walk with the pups and organized the upstairs. Now I have my tv up there, my couch and a folding table so I can work on puzzles! Smile

Today I don't have much planned. Need to do some dishes and vacuum. We have my fiance's daughter from 2-8 today. We are having daddy's famous spaghetti as she calls it. The weather sucks so that is too bad as we were hoping we could take here to the park.

So how about everyone else? WHAT'S UP?!?!?!?!?

Weekend was great! Got the cuttest Easter outfit for my granddaugher Chanel and she picked out her own basket. Smile strong willed. lol. I went to Loew's which is always fun Smile Got plants and flowers for my two flower beds, so colorful! That should brighten my day when I see them. Smile Watched the movie Salt, It kicked ass! really good.

Went to Dr today. for refills, Lab results. Low in vitamin D LOL I could have told her that, I don't get it lol kidding. Anyway, bought Oscal supplement. She changed my new bp med Norvase to some beta blocker. My pulse rate stays in the high 90's so not freaking out over it, going to give it a try. Oh I love it, SadDaddy's Famous Speaghetti lol that is so cute, hopefully the weather will clear up.

Going to start walking at lease 4 times a week, dragging Tika with me Smile Pretty much that's it for now.

Gosh its so good to here you all are doing good. I worked my butt off this weekend on our neighbors boat. I had an acid reflux attack at 3 am this morning. It made me so nauseous I wanted to throw up but couldn't. Cramps and hotflashy on top of all that. I was up for like 2 hours. I did a baking soda and water regime and it worked and now I feel so much better but I am just so tired now. lol But hey I can't complain. I am just glad I feel better now. I still went on my morning walk with my son in our back yard, it was sprinkling but the cool air felt so good. It is cold and rainy and I hope the sun peeks out sometime today. Just sitten here doing school with my son. He has Ohio Achievement Testing next week so I am gonna be a busy gal this week with that.

I did do some baking this weekend but just brownies. I still have to do my cutouts this week. Smile

I need to get some flowers for the flower boxes in the windows in Adina's room. Going to wait though until it warms up a little more. Don't want anything to die. Otherwise I have so many tulips, roses, daffodils, lupines, etc that come up every year I don't need to buy anything to plant.

And baking is something I need to do today or tomorrow. We got some furniture for free from a friend and I promised to bake some banana chip cookies for her in return. Got the bananas last week and they are finally getting ripe enough to mash. I am not a big fan of these cookies, but she loved them when I made them. I only made them to use up mashed bananas I had leftover from making banana bread. LOL.

Do you home school your son Amy?

Wow Jojo the bananna cookies sound so good, I'd put either butterscotch chips or peanutbutter chips mmmmmmmmmmmm. Amy how much baking soda do you put in water? I wanna try that. Hope schooling is the best Amy in the younger years, that is when children are more open and absorb so much! Good for you, that is not a easy tasks at all, hats off to you. Smile

I put white chips in them last time, so that is what I will do again. They sort of taste like little lumps of banana bread. I prefer to just eat banana bread, but they aren't for me. I have enough bananas I can probably make some bread too. Smile

Home schooling must keep you really busy. Wow. I would have loved that when I was a kid. I was always bored in school. They had some programs in elementary school for more advanced children, but those weren't that often. I ended up doing a lot of tutoring for developmentally disabled kids as I would get all my work done and have nothing left to do. 5th grade my teacher gave me my math book and social studies book and told me to read them and do all the tests at the end of each chapter and as soon as I was finished I was done with that for the year. I think it took me about a month. Then I did math olympiad and national geography bee instead with 2 other students. That was fun.

I usually just follow the instructions on the side of the baking soda.

It calls for 1/2 tsp. baking soda to 4 oz. glass of water. Stir until completely dissolved.

I use 1/4 tsp. of baking soda to 4oz. glass of water. Stir until completely dissolved.

It is important to make sure it is completely dissolved and what I do is just sip on it until I feel relief. It says you can drink the whole glass but I usually only have to drink like half that. My gosh it works so good for me.

Wow Jojo that is so awesome. And yes it does keep me very busy. In fact I can't wait till summer. lol White chips sound so yummy. Oh my gosh. I have made peanut butter cookies with white chocolate chips in them and oh my they are delicious.

Hang in there Slada,

You are a good person and deserve to be happy! I'm sorry you are in so much pain, my heart and prayers go out to you. I hope your husband wakes up and realizes what a wonderful person you are and starts to apreciate you again <3

My weekend was crazy. Dave's parents had a yard sale because they are planning on moving. I have never seen 2 people with more STUFF! Plus Dave's father is slightly insane and thinks that people are going to spend $5 less than the store price for something thats been used for 7 years. He should be a used car salesman, he would fit right in.

Yesterday we went out to dinner with my family to celebrate my brothers 15th bday. Man I feel old.

Today I have been feeling terrible. I feel like I got run over by a bus, despite the 2 hour nap I took this afternoon.

The good news, I got the position of Chair of Community Service for the new honor society chapter starting at my school next semester. I'm so excited ^_^
