How you feel at night time?

Do you feel more anxious?

When you look at window and see just dark, are you ok?

I am horrible every night almost.I feel choking sensation,my anxiety is high,I do not know what to do.I saw light for therapy( did you hear about) and it cost lots of money from 120-180 dollars.I hear lavender oil is good to have with you and you just need to smell but I have problem,I do not like lavender.

Anything else?

I need so so bright light and I can't do it better in apartment. My living room does not have celling light,it is making me crazy.I have two big lamp but it does not help.

slada, sometimes you are so cute and funny!! My worst time is at night too. Maybe we fear the unknown because it is dark. I personally think its because my mind is not focused on something and I don't have to concentrate..so my mind wanders over to the "what ifs". I just hate that.Angry Angry

Slada, Im no expert but if you dont like the smell of lavender, why not try vanilla? Most people like the smell of vanilla, reminds them of cakes and cookies and good stuff like that.

Nj, I am fortunate that night is not the worst time for me. I dont know why. Maybe it's because I take all my meds and a glass of wine and meditate before bedtime so I am "knocked out" and cant possibly lay there with my mind wandering. But watch out come morning time. I absolutely dread getting out of bed to see what the day will bring - as always, Im anticipating something will hit the fan. Angry

Yes my issue is worse at night but I have began to start my meditation around 6pm then eat, take a shower read or watch TV then do some yoga in my bedroom, lay down with Zen music playing and the dark does not bother me anymore my mind goes somewhere bright sunny warm and peaceful, I just stopped looking outside and started looking within for the light and things got better fast

And no I am not a doctor but I am a nurse and the reason they say not to drink with your anti-anxiety meds is because your benzo slows the nervous system and there for slows the heart rate drinking slows the blood flow and brain responce there for making it MUCH more likely to have supressed breathing and possible cardic arrest it is not stated as a this may be bad for you thing it is VERY dangrous just as risky as taking large amounts of pain pills with your benzo

BECAREFUL you have fear of panic but you are playing with you life (that you worry so much about when you panic) when you drink and take your meds

I'm an Advocate

Night time is difficult for me, I have a hard time falling asleep, I toss and turn and wake up often. I adjuct the a/c. Pop in cd, then when all else fails some hot tea, or wine. That is what works for me, I am not on medications that it could interact with, xanax as needed, and I don't drink if I took one.
I am not a Doctor, Nurse or Medical Professional. Im not even Dr. Seuss, Dr. Dolittle or Dr. Dre. :) I only share advice from my own personal experiences with Panic Attack Disorder. My friends my worse time is from 5:30pm till 11:00p Sad(((Sad((((

In eleven I am taking my medications and then I am fine. What is so scary about dark?

Did you hear about light therapy?

Did anybody try?

I saw it is huge lamp, very bright light, and if you spend 15-30 minutes every day siting beside it should make you feel better, less anxious and less depress.

I have to ask them, can I rent from them for a week.

All other things you can rent there, this is medical supply store.

I try one cup of vine but I did not take my pills.I try beer too and nothing happen but after I did not take my pills. This happen just twice.......but my husband who is Bipolar and using very strong pills,he drinks couple beers last New Year eve and he got manic,it was bad,bad and half things he can't remember. He was eating glass, from our table, and he didn't bleed,he was not noce to me when I told him to go home. One more thinks:

my psychiatrist told me,because I am claustrophobic,if I decide to move in other province, take 2-3 XANAX and couple Martini and you will be fine.First I was thinking he is joking but after he told me no it is ok,do not worry.Maybe he try,who know Smile)))Smile))Smile))))

Maybe is better be drunk every day and quit this pills than taking them all life.

I am joking I do not drink I just try twice and it was so good......

Uh......if I just have a beer right now I would take no matter what.....because now when I am using 0,2.5mg Clonazepam/Klonopin I can't sleep at night even Cipralex 30mg does not help me....

Lee is right we should be very careful with our medications,we never know what may happen if we take alcohol, are we going to sleep well or end up in ER...I gees depend of amount we drink.I think brandy is more dangerous than beer.....

Sorry I do not know did I spell right beer.....o my English Smile))Smile)Smile)))Smile))))
