So I was starting to feel encouraged with all the new books I've been reading this week and the panic hypnosis/meditation I downloaded on my phone. I've been taking so many notes about proper diet and vitamins to help with anxiety, and I have been falling asleep to my panic meditation...... BUT last night the app for my meditation quit working. idk what's going on. I have others, but that one actually worked for me. I could actually sleep for like 30 minutes at a time listening to it. That is a huge accomplishment for me. AND today I decided I am starting my "warrior" brain diet from my book and eat non processed food, no refined sugar..... etc, So i made a huge salad, made my own salad dressing to avoid sugar in bottled dressing, sat down with my book and started to enjoy lunch. So about 1/3 into my salad I look down to take the next bite and OMG a huge dead black fly was curled up in my lettuce. Curled in such a way that it was obviously in the bag of salad I had bought (i was lazy and bought the pre-washed, pre shopped romaine). UGH! So no sleep and no salad. Guess I'll eat a brownie Sad

Glad you see you were able to find humor in it lol but that still sucks, I will now look at my salad more carefully before pouring creamy dressing on it. Sad

Remember don't discount the positive in this ---

You made the effort to eat right

You made your own dressing to help

Your still reading the books

And its good that one stopped when o first started guided meditation I liked one set above all the others one day it just stopped working on my ipod I was crushed. But the positive is I had listened to it for so long I knew most all the meditation and what I couldn't remember I made up to fit me .. so find your spot you liked about the hypnosis the most and build around that in your mind to some relaxing music

Look for the positives in everything ans though you found a fly reminder flys don't eat much and one fly can't kill ya

Hugs

Lol I love salad. It almost feels like nothing is safe to eat. Beginning to miss the old days of the hunger gatherer method of eating.

Oh MY! How yucky. I like a good salad myself, however my stomach does not. So strange that something so healthy like raw veggies could be so bad! It does seem a lot of things we purchase end up not being as safe as we would expect. I also miss the old days like Kent.

However I also know so many others that do as well and really support the organic farming going on here in WI among the people I know. Especially those I know that like to share! My friend Erin does a lot of natural gardening as do her family and friends. How neat to hang out with a group of women while the children were playing and we were cooking. The rutabaga apple crisp did not however turn out as good as we had expected. Thankfully it still will not go to waste.

I was so thankfully reminded over the past couple days my experiences on mission trips. How little one can get by on and live so wonderfully.

I sound like a hippie! LOL Oh no I just sound like I love going green and old school stuff a lot of time rocks!

I never was one for going green. Not that its a bad thing by any means, I just never got into the habit at least not at home. At work however they are all about goin green so its almost like a must. As far as veggies go my faves are tomatoes and cucumbers and I would eat my weight in them if I could.
