MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

Hey guys, I'm just starting on Lexapro, and it's been a little rough side effect wise, so if anyone has any positive experiences with lexapro I'd love to hear about them so I have something to look forward to Smile

I'm an Advocate

Hey Jamie! I was on lexapro for about 2 months. The first couple weeks I had some not so pleasant side effects, mainly excessive sleepiness. That went away within a couple weeks though. It really helped me with my depression, however didn't do much for my anxiety and panic. This is why I no longer take it and I switched to a different anti-depressant that is working for me personally much better. Everyone is different though and lexapro does help many with anxiety and panic.

What type of side effects do you experience? What is the dose you are on? When did you start it?

Hi Jamie! I have been on lexapro over the past 4 years twice. The first time it worked like a charm all the anxiety went away and I didn't have even an anxious thought. Granted I did have nausea, dry mouth, and jaw clenching that first time and it didn't work immediately it took about 3 weeks. The second time I started Lexapro was about 2 months ago and I took it for 6 weeks, while it helped it didn't make me feel like myself and I was still quite anxious and had panic attacks while on it so I switched. I did have the nausea, jaw clenching and dry mouth the second time also.

But like JoJo said it's different with everyone. Good luck!!!
