MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

Hi, I'm new here. I'm 16 years old. About 4 weeks ago, I moved to a new town and just felt sad and tender inside. I feel like crying all the time. I'm on zoloft and my mom is supportive, but the kinder her words are, the harder I cry- although I need her to tell me those kind things. She hugs me and I just squeeze her and sob. It's like I'm hurting and afraid of something, but I don't know what it is.

I'm NOT suicidal. In fact, I'm afraid of death.

Please, someone out there start and continue to pray for me. Please pray for my mom too, this is hurting her really bad.

Thank You!

I had attempted suicide by O.D. 2 years ago, cause I was made fun of at school and was failing classes.

I was on Zoloft since then.

Hi James, welcome to the group. I think we can all sympathize with how you're feeling and you've come to a safe place to talk about it. We are here only to show support and get support, not judge or critisize. So please feel welcome! I will be praying for you & your mom.

I'm sorry to hear what you're going through James. Keep letting your mom hold you & keep talking to us here. The world can be pretty cold & hard - so stay where you feel safe. Have you tried counseling to find the origin of the feelings you have? You'd be surprised what you can be holding in that hurts you and you don't even know it. Was that a run on sentence? Smile Anyway, go easy on yourself and talk about how you feel. The members here are incredibly caring and have made my life many times more livable! (Even enjoyable dare I say)

Hope to talk again soon.

Andy

1 tablet one a day. Not sure the mg though. Therapist and Docs never did say what it could be. I thought it could be years of holding hate in my heart for those who had tormented me, then making me feel insecure once I let that "shield" down.

How do I stop this feeling and move on? It's a vicious cycle- I worry about wasting the days feeling like this, and that makes me feel like this even more.

What do you guys do for it? What is this called anyway?

Does it have a name?

P.S. I'm not asking for a diagnosis. Just advice.

Thanks.

Well, when you saw a doctor or therapist, didnt they tell you what they thought you could have, like depression or panic attacks, or something? Like when I went to doctors, therapist, ect, they told me I have panic disorder. Do you feel panicky or just really sad? When I feel sad or panicky, I pray, I cry, I talk to people I trust, I try and exercise, I try and stay positive and I keep telling myself, this too will pass. It wont be like this forever, things will get better.
