hi everyone,

I have been so panicked about what, other than anxiety, might be causing this pain I get on the right side of my head, next to my ear, and over my right eye. I just came across some information about trigger point pain and am wondering if this might be the cause, since I can feel at least two bumps/knots between my neck and shoulder on the right side which I am assuming are from tight muscles. I have already had an MRI scan of my brain which thankfully came back normal.

So, my questions are, does/has anyone else experienced these symptoms, and if so, how did you treat them? I have been applying heat to the affected areas and that helps. I also found a trigger point workbook that I am seriously thinking about buying. I am just sick of worrying about this.

Thanks for your time!

Colleen... Think about this...When we didn't have the disorder we didn't focus on what I call normal aches and pains...The nature of this disorder causes us to what if and allows our thinking to run wild with thoughts...Once you feel comfortable with your doctor advice we need to trust in our self that its all from anxiety and take the focus off the feelings...I have had about all the symptoms related to anxiety.. feeling like I had to breath for my self, derealization feelings, like something was in my throat and had to swallow all the time, the list goes on and on.. But one thing I do know is the answer to all these symptoms is to not attach danger to them and trust you self knowing this is only our mind creating fear from the symptoms produced by anxiety...I over come each symptom with this type of thinking, so I know this is the way...Son
