Panic Attacks Support Group

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I have been on here. I have some more concerns and I wanted to see if anyone has any advice. First, my doctor wants to put me on Wellbutrin along with my Lexapro because I have no sexual desire and still have underlying anxiety issues. Does Wellbutrin really help to bring the sex drive back? And second, I want to try having another child soon and I'm terrified to go off of my medication. It almost makes me want to adopt! I don't know what to do. If anyone has advice let me know.

Hi steph, welcome again to the group. Im sorry I can't help u with that Prozac is what Im on and it totally ruined my orgasms, which in turn ruined sex life. But I would rather feel better in other ways. I think most antidepressents screw up your libido. But Im not sure, I need an answer to that one also

When I started Paxil years ago it destroyed my sex drive (amoung other things) but I just had to stay on it to get my life back. So anyways it took around 4 months of not wanting to be touched at all and then it slowly came back. And I am not sure why but the drive really really came back and I am more then fine now. Possibly have the opposite problem. It will go away - you just have to get hobbies in the meantime hehe. I have heard that Wellbutrin does not cause the sexual side effects from a friend but it might differ for ppl.

OMG - I have been on anti-hormonnes for about 2 years and just reaching a level of zero now. So I have been totally devoid of sexxxxx for 2 years. And now I am being bombarded by newly developing testasterone - I am experiencing agressivness, urges, and other - that I have completely forgotten how to cope with.

It is a wonder that I am even reasonably rational at this point....
