Yesterday I was kinda busy and usually I have to eat break, lunch and dinner on time or I get sick to my stomach, headache etc.. anyway I ate a very small lunch and that was it, I didnt have a stomach issue so I skipped eating again and while grocery shopping at 6pm in the store I started feeling nausea and though " Oh gosh here goes an attack" but again thought its probally cause my last meal was at noon, and its now 6pm. I had the thought of leaving my groceries and going back to the car but I finished shopping then went straight to long john silvers and ate really fast to fill my stomach and feel better, actually I was eating not because I wanted to but because I felt I had to. But for about 2 hrs after even when I felt better I stressed over why I felt that way in the store even though I knew why I felt that way. Even woke up this morning and my first thought is, "why did I feel sick in the store?" So the hyopglycemia I had brought on a panic attack. And..then I obsessed about it. Geez
Prozac 30mg.

Hey Cinder

You sound as you are really getting this thing under some sort of control - that's great.

Time to party -

Congrats, Raoul

I notice that I am more prone to get a panic attack if I am hungry. I think because being hungry mimic some of my beginning feelings of an attack. Like shaky and dry mouth and heart rate. Then I start to think am I having a attack and cause one. I have found that if I carry butterscotch candy in my purse and suck on it if I am out and hungry of feel shaky it helps the blood sugar rise and takes my mind off how I am feeling.

I'm an Advocate

Skipping meals can def. bring on panic symptoms, especially if you're sugar gets too low. You basically get the same symptoms with low blood sugar as you do with panic attacks. No need to stress out and wonder what caused it, you already knew and remedied the problem! The same thing happens to me. I was diagnosed with Reactive Hypoglycemia.
