I am going to be having surgery again in June (prostate stuff). The Urologist said that they will have to turn my Pacer off for the surgery. Anyone have any experience w/ this? Anyone know why?

I have heard of other ppl who have had surgery w a pacer and they have had it turned off but the surgeon put an external one on them. Is this what they are going to do?

They didn't mention an external one. Long as they remember to turn it back on again...

Ya, I do. I just had a big surgery on my knee. Since, they will but a external one on. The did for me since I am almost 100 dependent on mine. I did fine so will you. You wound even notice the difference. You will be out anyway.
