 Why do I do this to myself every time i get a cold or any thing I obsess over it. does any one els do the same?

 It's all part of this wonderful thing called OCD. try to journal or write about it. maybe that will help with the compulsion. do you have a good book about living with ocd. i have one and will try to fiind it so i can give you the name.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel -- but it's a train about to run over you.

 I have a friend who thinks that she is terminally ill, if she gets a minor cold. It doesnt really mattter what she has, or does, she does obsesss over it, so your not the only one....
