MDJunction to me

grandmasylvia"MDJ has been "a soft place to fall" for me as Dr Phil says. I have this very painful rare disease Dercum's Disease and take comfort in finding others here who share their knowledge and compassion. Many
members have helped me just by understanding my anguish and validating
my pain. We are working together to encourage research toward a cure.

Is more meds the answer for my picking sores problem? Some scars are uncoverable with tattoos. My tattoo artist/best friend says he can't work miracles.

I just started being hypnotized. I think i will mention it to him. I see him before my "med" shrink.

We shall see.

I want to change my name so I do not have to be me anymore. My name is tainted. My ox standard poodles name is King Lucian Diamond). So, yes, I would have my best friends name

Izabella Iolly Diamond

Mellissa Iolee Diamond

Mellissa Trouble Diamond

Lazi Misunderstood

Fyre Trouble Diamond ...

Blessed be,
Iolee

I really don't know if more meds would keep you from picking. It might help. Sometimes it is a matter of breaking the cycle. I have to keep my hair back and things to keep from pulling it. I imagine picking is on the same order. Something you can't control. Your a dear person and I do hope this will work out for you.

Your such a sweetie Mitz. I found a new place to go for counseling (I refused to keep seeing the last one because trust was broken (long story) and a new shrink. My family doc strongly suggests I see a counsler ...especially when she saw my burn marks and bruising from self-harming. I think I need someone to talk to one on one. Someone I can talk to on a weekly basis. I am still a work in progress. I do what I have to do to help myself. Nobody else is going to do it! I can still wish for a magic wand to make people better though =) My monster poodle needs to go potty ...hope to hear from you soon.

Blessed be,

Missy
