Well this my first time to even get on line and to sign on, so I am sure I will make mistakes.

I had surgery 9 days ago and actually starting to feel good today, went for a nice walk this evening. I live in Oregon, so I am not sure you actually will see this.

Congratulations Artful! You posted your first post!

Welcome to MDJ and to the Group! Please don't fear making mistakes, we all do, its a part of life. In fact, I think I sent my first post about 5 times! So embarrassing, but everyone here is very kind and helpful.

I'm so glad you found MDJ so soon after your surgery as the Obesity group can be very helpful to support your weight loss journey.

Here at MDJ, on the support group page, there is also a Gastric Bypass surgery group. They discuss all the different kinds of surgeries available, and the members range from "I'm just starting to think about surgery" to members who are "years out from having surgery".

This is only my opinion, Artful, but I think that you can benefit from both groups as they compliment each other very well.

Keep posting and let us know how you're doing! If you have any questions feel free to message Scotty or myself. We have 3 group leaders in our group, however, our ohfaithful is sick right now.

Looking Forward to hearing from you,

Sonni
