Hi. I've been overweight my whole life. Not always by a lot but at 5 ft. 1, not a whole lot shows a whole lot. My mom is 5ft 7 and maybe 115 lbs. She's always told me that she wished she had my hips or my chest, and that I was her Renaissance woman, shapely and curvy. I always thought that was her nice way of saying I was fat. At my largest I was 215. I was depressed and suicidal. I'm down to 180 or so now. Working hard not to get skinny but to stay healthy. I will never be a size 8 or even a 10. But I'm trying very hard to learn to like my body just the way it is. |
