MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

ok, I was doing really well and started to lose some weight. I was exercising everyday then.. before I knewit I was exercising less, eating more and so on. The cycle contuines. And now I am eating out of stress. I have so much going on. I need my tonsils out but I need to put it off until spring because I am having dental issues. And because of my medicare I have to pay out of pocket for dental work, something I can not afford. I have been searching for free clinics and there is only 1 that I could find that will give me a free exam but I will still have to pay for the actual work. I am in so much physical pain and not only is my mouth/ tooth hurts but so does my head and it is causing me not to be able to sleep. And with my toinsild not coming out I am worried about the consequences until I do have them out this spring. Plus our car is up for the yearkly inspection which I live in a state that does a fully inspection so I am worried that the car will not pass, Our cat needs to go to the vet and have an exam and have his shots and there could be something wrong. Plus our coush is going to have to be replaced soon. I am miserable here. And I can not keep my head out of the fridge and get my butt up and active!! Errr. Does anyone have any suggestions on how not to stress eat. My moto normally is If I do not buy it I can not eat it. But I do not even have the will power not to supply the house with sugary yucknes which Is screwing up with my teeth that has placed me in the postition that I am in now with dental issues. I am sorry that I am sorta rambling here and I went into issues that do not relate to this group but they relate to my overeating. Thanks for reading

Hey there Faithfinder!

Happy to see you back!!! I'm so very sorry about all of the issues that you are having right now but don't get side tracked...TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY...A CLEAN SLATE TO START ANEW!!!

There are two things that helped some of us in another weight loss group that I belong to and continue to help me in healing my body!

    1. UNSULPHURED black strap molasses starting with one tablespoon a day and build up to two tablespoons a day...provides minerals necessary to heal the body and NATURAL SUGARS to STOP cravings (provides good bacteria)!!!

    2. ORGANIC apple cider vinegar helps to rebalance the body...one tablespoon...it is a fermented/good bacteria food!

This combination should be taken in warm water first thing in the morning....before you know it the cravings will diminish and the weight will lessen it's hold!

Have you tried YOGA OR MEDITATION OR SIMPLY A TIME OUT BY CLOSING YOUR EYES...DEEP BREATHING...AND THINKING OF YOUR FAVORITE PLACE WHILE REPEATING ONE POSITIVE PHRASE...??? What is something other than food that helps to destress you???

Things will get better...one day at a time!

Faith Wink
