MDJunction to me

carmen33"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

My first treatment was not so nice. I seemed to react to some of the chemicals and especially the prednisone. I was given 200 MG. Wow it hit me like a ton of bricks. Now I eat much more before I take the pills.

Later treatments going a bit better.

I am so sorry to hear you have Non-Hodgkins. I am not a cancer patient but a care giver to family with Hodgkins. My sister had a rough time with Prednisone and they prescribed Atavan for nausea. Atavan is used also for anxiety, but also helped the nausea.

If I may ask, what protocol are they using to treat your non-hodgkins?

I wish you the best with your treatment.

Constance

The answer to your question is sessions with R-chop and four sessions with R-ice.

Thank you and I hope you are doing better.

I am not familiar with R-chop, but I am with R-ice.

My sister did have R-ice at Shands (University of Florida) and it was not a good experience.
