I get up about every night and eat. By eat I mean eat everything and anything I can get my hands on. I hate it....but I don't know why I do it and I can't stop it! help!

Hi Kim,

your night eating experince sounds so much like mine.

i get up just to take a look at the kitchen.

than i take something small just to put in my mouth.

a minute later i'll eat everything i can get my hands on.

good thing i do it at night when most places are closed otherwise i'd start ordering stuff

night eating is no fun.

what do you say?

I totally hear ya on that one. I hate it so much but my counselor says that we are people of habit which I totally agree with and that is one of the reasons I do it almost every night. I wake up at like 2 and there is nothing else to do, so yah I eat. It sucks and so I try to get on the computer and get on this website and mess around to try and avoid eating, but alls I think about is that's what I'm not supposed to be doing and it seems like I want to do it even more...It's a viscious cycle. Do you do it every night?
