I saw 3 sleep specialists and did a few sleep studies as well, all of them ruled out the obvious. Hang in there, if anything they will rule out the sleep problems Smile

Thanks for the encouragement, I just wish there was a pill you take and you pass out, then wake up 8 hours later.

I've taken them all. They work for about a week with the full 8 hours and then it returns. The one that worked best for me was Lunesta, once you get past the terrible aftertaste that actually lasts more than 12 hours, it's great. I would get a solid 3-5 hours at a time which was a big improvement for me and more importantly I wouldn't wake up like I had a hangover. The only reason I stopped the Lunesta was so that I qualified for any sleep studies. I try to get into them when I can. They won't take you unless you are med free from sleep aid's. Ambien didn't work, made it worse. Ambien CR was a little better.

How often are you weighing yourself? If it's in the morning after a night of eating then I believe it will be higher compared to a night without eating. Water from carbs and what not will attribute to a higher weight.

I know how hard it is to find a good time to weigh yourself when NES strikes but, keep it consisant.

I know that feeling! When do you weight yourself though? After a few days of resisting eating at night? I can understand if you visually see negative changes I would avoid the scale...that would just be another kick in the face seeing a higher and visually see negative changes.

Exactly. i already know i have gained and being frustrated often makes eating worse, I think. SOmetimes I get in a groove and have felt I lost weight. So then I will weigh in. I def normally go without the NES prior to. Wish I could control it every night now! I am seriously working on it!
