Yes ash, you are right. It is way better than before. But sugar and I = slippery slope! So I dont like to give in. Plus there is HFCS in oreos-yuck!

i take a probiotic supplemnent daily but my tummy still gets irritated with certain foods.

natural raw food has its own enzymes intacts that help you digest them. food for thought.

Good job, nighteater!!!!

I on the other hand, made brownies. I replaced the oil with yogurt, but added decadent frosting and pb. My calories were way too high today. I ate between 3 and 4 brownies plus extra icing. I feel gross!!!!! I will let the kids have the rest and aim for a sugar free week. see what those Oreos led to???? Bakers remorse!

last night I did not eat, but my brownie splurge surely set me back more than if I had had a normal day and then a night snack.

I just saw a photo of me taken recently and it is really time to man up to some portion control. I can not believe how chubby I look. I mean, I knew it, but I was hoping it was not true.

Yesterday was interesting. I was put through probably the toughest 2hr work i ever had. Felt nausiated, headach, beat up, broke down and tired. layed around playing Wii with the kids. Then around 7 started a bad 2 hour binge.

I actually felt really good after eating so much. I think if it was healthy food I would have felt awesome. The good part is i didnt eat anything after 10.

Speaking of pictures a couple years ago my mom took a bunch of pics at my sons bithday party. She couldnt waite to call me when they came in to tell me how chubby i looked in them. (she still uses an old style camera)lol

Sure enough the next time they came over to visit, they have a big stack of birthday pics; with the ones that capture the essence of my fatness best sorted at the top!. she was right! I looked like a big frumpy pregnant gorilla.lol

Last night was bad, spaghetti and cereal. I woke up really sluggish, but I also realized that the past few bad nights I had I didn't eat breakfast, so I ate an apple, and I'm about to work out and eat again cause I'm starting to get a little hungry. Not gonna let this get me down, cause no matter what happens or how bad of a night I have, I know that I can and will improve because I have done it before! Smile

Oh my gosh, nighteater, I have had so many similar moments. I don't really like being photographed but my family loves to take pictures so I just smile and hope I don't look bad in them!!! Luckily, the 14 lbs I lost really shows, but boy, the pictures of when I was at my worst, I hope those never surface anywhere cause it was a bad bad time for me!!! I'm going to focus on continuing to put muscle in my body, cause the more I weigh, the more I can eat to maintain but still remain the same size, and I love to eat! Time to go lift some weights... Smile

I feel the same way about pics now, ash. I just grin and bear it. I have crooked teeth and a big vein on my forehead that can make me look mean and beastly so I always hope it will be okay. And that I wont look huge!

Have a good workout!

Hey everyone,

I am referencing all the things I missed over the weekend. I agree with Nighteater about the excessive workouts, I think my injury is a blessing in disguise. It forced me not to counter NES with working out and really just focus on regaining more balance and trying to cut out NES instead.

I would always feel guilty about missing a workout after a bad night. Sometimes the guilt creeps up on me still, but if Im enjoying sleep when my alarm goes off, I just let it be. Rest is always more important expecially when our nights are so broken in terms of sleep. Plus after a day of skipping a workout, I always want to work out the next day even more.

I had a 650-700 cal night on Friday, and was supposed to weigh in on Saturday. I did so after a 1.5 hr workout and had lost 2.8 lbs or so- I am now 133.6 lbs. No idea how that happened but if the scale slightly creeps back up this week I wont be surprised.

Saturday night was a get together with family = total overeating on sweets, cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, icing by the spoon lol -it got UGLY and obviously I woke up for anyother 700 cal night.

So I took the day off working out yesterday and ate cleaner, ended up with a 220 cal night instead. Also slept in today and missed my workout.... but I will be more motivated tomorrow I bet.

Ripa, your saturday sounds like something I would do. I am hopeless once I start eating that kind of thing.

Congrats on the weight loss! Way to go! I bet that was a nice surprise. You must have a fast metabolism, girl!

RIght now rest is very important for me I am realizing. I need to have patience and the extra sleep helps. Also I think I am less likely to binge when well rested. And another thing is my knees are getting very arthritic from the extra excersize. So, you are right Ripa. Very wise words from you today.

Glad last night was better for you and lets all keep our chin up geared towards an awesome week with limited to no NES and healthy eating. Balance balance!
