Ugh! Last night was almost an instant replay of the night before. I decided to have a few fritos before bed bc I love them and I was seriously still hungry. I thought I could get away with before bed snacking, but should have remembered it rarely works out and I am normally drawn back to that same food again in the night. I probably ate around 300 cals but I am not sure how accurate that count is. I hope it is accurate!

This caused me to sleep in again and miss my workout. I am just too busy today to excersize. My goal is to work out 5 times this week. That means I need to excersize fri sa and sun! I hope i will do it and tonight I will be wiser. I am gonna def put all the chips away so they will not be there to tempt me!

I went so long without eating them. I need to make the switch to carrots!

How did everyone else do?

Similar to yours!! I had grapes and apple by my bedside! But then I ventured into the kitchen for a piece of leftover chicken!

The only positive was that I stayed away from grains!

I ate waaay too much last night. A pear, three Luna Bars (I had just bought them and I knew I shouldn't have) and a bowl of cereal...

It's a new day! Now that those luna bars are gone I don't need to worry about them tonight. Those things are like candy!

Wow, sweety, you sound just like me when I first joined this forum. I would eat 600-900 calories a night but at my worst, well over 1000.

It does get better, though, as long as you make an effort to get in your necessary calories during the day and making them nutrient rich calories at that. It is a new day and you can do this!

Oh and Anjul, I have been there, too! When you start eating more during the day, you should stop being quite so hungry at night. Hang in!

I have done that too. Esp when we have the ability to say no during the day, we make choices in the grocery store and think "when I want this I will be able to have one". I have bought snack packs of stuff thinking, ohj this is only 100 cals but overnight I can eat the full box which is like 600 -800 cals. Serving sizes don't even matter o/n like they would during the day for me. It is all about the ability to stay out of the kitchen or away from the treats. I can go a night without touching what I put by my bed and instead go into the kitchen. Its awful and thats the main pattern that needs to be broken if NES is going to be a thing of the past for us.
