MDJunction to me

Claire138"It's been a year since I joined the Parkinson's Disease Support Group on MDJunction and all I can say is thank you all for the support, compassion and friendship I've received and been able to give as well. It was a lonely night when I came upon this site, but the nights aren't that lonely anymore...

So im going to start off the New Year with a new attitude and determined to Beat this NES...I was doing great for 2 nights, and than last night, I woke up to food everywhere in the kitchen..

I spent hundreds of dollars on workout clothes, new shoes, wardrobe, fruit,u name it, I was bound in determined to get this weight off, get back to where i was only 7 months ago, but sit here today feeling so beat down because of the extreme that I did last night..grrrrrDevil

Now I sit here on my laptop , laying in bed, and dont even want to get up and get to the gym....Its so hard...two days of working out and dieting, washed away by a night of food, and the kicker is, i took all junk food out of this house, so i just gorged on crap i dont even like from the looks of it??

just felt the need to vent and looking for encouragement from anyone starting the new year in hopes to get this disease under control...

Joy hit the nail on the head.. you put it behind you and pick up and move on.. after 20 plus years I have given up on beating this.. but I do know how to control to a fair degree by knowing what not to do... but make no mistake.. I know exactly how you feel.
