SOme of the things that work best for all of us is to limit sugar and also any binge trigger you may have, esp near bedtime. Try to finish eating early so you dont get into the eating zone right before bed, and if you must, predecide what you will eat during the night so you dont get into trouble.

It is best to just continue to work on this because it is a lifelong issue, and I consider it an addiction. I have been in remission before, right now I am struggling. But let me tell you, remissio...

Isnt that weird? I probably had over a full serving of raisins. They probably were the main cause. I hope so since I just told you in the other thread I ate half a banana. But the banana does constipate. It was a dynamic duo. I dont like them any more after this. It felt like I owuld explode last night. I dont think I want any more dried fruits ever!

I think I just bought the same mascare! It did work good but I dried my hair after applying and then my eyelashes did look like they had dissap...

Coolade, I come out of my comfort zone only when I hit rock bottom so to speak. Out of fear. When I perceive that if I not do it now, then it is the end of the world for me. With NES I am not sure as I said before - I am not sure whether NES is good or bad for us. I see it as compensatory mechanism and I just do not know - may be we will combat NES, we would need to go on medication? I do not know. I just know that at nights I tend to have unbearable urge to eat carbs. Last night it was so bad...

Hi everyone!
I have just joined and have some questions about the foods I have been having as a night snack before bed. I have to eat just before bed or else I can't fall asleep or even when full when I go to bed I wake up hungry. It has turned into a bad bad habit now where I will wake up and eat some bites when waking for the toilet. Sometimes is well controlled with healthy things like veggies or bite of cottage cheese.. but sometimes I can't stop and then it turns into sugar craving or ...

Well my good mood backfired and I ate a 370 calorie dessert after lunch! I will have to be careful the rest of the day. I only have like 260 cals left if I want to stay at 1150 ( which I would rather it be less but at this point that is the best I can do). I am still happy but dissappointed in my choices. I thresw out the rest of the ice cream I was eating adn pu tthe chocolate icing in my freezer downstairs so I dont think about it again. My days off always are feast days.
Hi all, please forgive me if this has been asked a thousand times. This is my first post, so I am still learning! :)

I have had NES for about 15 years. I am 31, and married with two small children. I think it all started when I was in 7th grade. My brothers used to eat us out of home, so my mom started hiding the sweet snacks. She only told me where they were, so the boys couldn't get to them. That was a bad idea because I found myself going to them in the middle of the night. It ha...

Hi Denise! I was able to resist eating through the night. However as usual in weight dropping mode I did not sleep well at all. So now I am sort of exhausted. This is probably why it is so hard to lose weight after a certain age. Body rebels. When I was younger, my sleep did not depend so much on what I was eating. When I was losing weight I was still able to sleep. But not anymore. When I go through push-time and lowering my weight a little bit more, I always have to suffer with poor sleep.

I think the movement, agility and vitality of women can make themk seem much younger. I am very agile and highly energetic and I think that is what makes me seem young. I dont want to feel bad about aging or looking older. I try to fight those thoughts. But I would be lying if I said it did not bother me. I think about my husband having to look at my aging face and it makes me sad. I see how older men look at me and I wonder if that will be him some day. He never checks any women out in my prese...

It is very hard to give advice here. I am battling night time eating myself and I am very strong-willed person, but I can not get a control over my night eating. Sometimes it is minor, sometimes I consume a lot during a night. I do compensate for it by eating less during the day.

For a life of me I have NO CLUE what really is behind this need. I suspect it is chemical, hormonal and the need to eat is what it is - A NEED.

I am not sure it is even good to try and deny it. I know that somet...

Well, the carbs are back in the house. I'm so weak. I'm going through a rough time--health issues, and I feel like I deserve them. My thought is I might as well enjoy them in moderation if possible. You never know what your future holds.

Enough of my pity party!

I've never gone out to my car to get them during the night, since I'm on the 2nd floor, but if my car was in a garage, I bet I would. I've tried putting them high up in a closet in a box. Sad. I will still get out the step s...
