I am 29 years old. I was diagnosed with NF from birth. The doctor's didn't fully diagnose it till I was 3 years old. I had numerous MRI's done until i was 12 years old. I have a slight learning disability because of the NF. I also suffer from migraine headache's which are caused by the NF.

A couple of years ago though i had an MRI done and they didn't find any tumors on my brain that would caused my migraines. The migraines are caused by NF, i have learned that from doing research on my own.I am on medication for the migraines. The medication helps to some extent.

Hi, Rebecca,

What medication are you on for the migraines? Often with NF migraines, they can use various anti-seizural meds to help. It is still a crapshoot whether they will help, as most did not in my daughter's case, but each person is different so you might consider talking to your doctor about other options if you haven't yet. It sounds like you have been through a lot of moderating, and as tough as that can be to have to keep going through, it is important to stay on top of this so good for you in doing that.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you. There are a lot of natural things you can try to help with the migrains, too, let me know if you are interested, and I will do my best to help.
