Anyone had lidocaine injections which resulted in a worse outcome? My daughter just had one and the headache went through the roof. Not only that, but she experienced severe neck and should pain which is just starting to return to pre-injection pain after about 5 days. Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Mine helped a bit and I didn't get a reaction, but some people definitely seem to feel worse for a few days. I know gratefulMJ felt better for a day or two and then got some bad pain after that (or at least I think it was him), hopefully he sees this and responds!

I didn't get any relief from lidocaine injections. They made my headache worse for a few weeks, they gave it a neck/back of my head aspect that eventually went away after a few weeks. My neck and back of my head just felt really really stiff and had this real dull ache after my injections. But like I said, it went away after a little while. If she is having similar problems, I found that a heating pad on the back of my neck helped a lot.
see it feels bad now but its gonna get better.

Thanks -- the pain seems to be getting somewhat better after a week. She was on muscle relaxers, but had to be taken off because of kidney problems -- one of the side effects.
