I was wondering, any others have tinnitus?

I heard quite a few others with tinnitus who also experienced a lot of headaches. I have it to, but it's not something that bothers me. I only notice it when I pay attention to it. Headache is really my main problemTongue.

Not me, but there is a good amount of threads on this and I've also remembered reading about it. Try "NDPH tinnitus" without quotes in the search box. Best wishes.

I don't have it often (just occasionally, kind of like before the headache...though it bugs me a lot more now), but a number of people do seem to have it either all the time or most of the time along with their headache. It seems to be one of those symptoms like photophobia that some people have and others don't.

I have unremitting tinnitus. It arrived a few weeks after the headache. It is hellish; I can't have silence, despite the headache. They have even less understanding of tinnitus than of headache.

I don't have it either but I also recall it has been posted about several times, so it's not uncommon with NDPH seemingly.

I had it for a while after I got my headache, but oddly enough it was one of my meds that was doing it. I can't remember which on I was on at that point though, I'd have to go back through my journal.

I'm like Bill, I have it all the time with the headache. Mine actually gets louder as the headache intensity goes up. There are times when I'm sure it is loud enough that people standing close to me have to be able to hear it, too...

With me it is a very minor symptom. It happens occasionally, and lasts only a very short time.

I just saw this discussion; So I had to reply.

I've suffered from Tinnitus for about 3 years now. My mum has what's called Meniere's disease, which is hereditary; We both think I have it. Unfortunately my GP wont test me for it, as he doesn't believe I have it.

JayDeeKay-Welcome to the group! Feel free to start an intro thread and share as much as you feel comfortable about your journey. If your GP doesn't listen to your concerns, it sounds like its time for a new one. Best wishes.
