MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

Drice0515, I hope you are able to get some help from the local neuro. It would be great if they could help you get the pain under control enough that your job is not threatened.

Disabled at 29 is hard to swallow. My headache hit at 26 and it cost me my job and I haven't been able to work another normal one since. It kind of stinks since this is not how I pictured my life going, but at least I am not trying to do the impossible everyday (that was worse).

I still hope that someday I will be able to work part time again, but I know it isn't very likely. It has taken a while to get used to. I am 29 now and have had my headache for 2 1/2 years (more than twice as long as I had the job, I liked the job better though).

I am glad that if you do have to go through the disability process that your wife knows what to do, though I hope you will be able to keep working.
