MDJunction to me

MissNikkiAnn"When you have an illness with the name "Non-Familial Dysautonomia" (a name that most people, and even doctors, have never heard of), you need a network
of people who understand the name and the symptoms/issues that come with it.
MDJunction led me to that network of people during a very confusing and sickly time. For this I am thankful. And for this reason I try my best to give back to other members the same care and help that I received through MDJunction.

Hello!

I hope everyone is doing well, despite this battle called headache that we're experiencing. I've finally scheduled an appt at the Mayo Clinic. Has anyone ever gone there or know of anyone that has? Also, what can I expect?

We took my son to the pediatric unit three years ago. Not much help then. Maybe things have changed. Hopefully you will have a different experience.

I haven't been, but it comes up every now and then. In general the reviews for adults are better than the kids, but it is still a mixed bag (like everywhere, I might add). I was able to find one of the really old threads when I searched for it, but maybe some of the info would still be helpful. http://www.mdjunction.com/forums/ndph-support-forums/ general-support/14515-mayo-clinic
