i have narcolepsy and was diagnosed when i was 17. i understand how school can be a struggle because i went through it to. i know that here in texas we have a 504 plan. it is for students that have been diagnosed with different illnesses and disorders that create difficulty in our everyday activities. these illnesses and disorders include sleep disorders. your school councelor ar principal should be able to help you get information about this program. some people with narcolepsy drive and so me dont. i drive short distances, but i believe that miss stacey does not drive at all. we do what we think is best for us. as far as finding your soul mate... it is possible. you will find that some of us on this site do have kids. i have a seven year old daughter. i know for a fct that other members have children too. narcolepsy is a shock to our lives but it does not have to destroy who we are or what we want out of life. college, career, marriage, kids, etc are all possible. if u have any more questions just ask. we are one big family here. sheri
